Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of change management practices on
organizational development in the case of Dashen Bank. The study used both quantitative and
qualitative research approaches, incorporating descriptive and explanatory research designs. The
independent variables examined were change management practices such as communication, employee
engagement, strategic change, operational change, and people-centric change, with organizational
development as the dependent variable.
Both stratified and purposive sampling techniques were employed. Primary data was collected through
structured questionnaires. A cross-sectional research survey was conducted, gathering data from
respondents at a single point in time. A total of 154 questionnaires were distributed to respondents at
the head office.
SPSS version 26 was used to analyze the collected data. A reliability test was conducted to measure the
consistency of variable measurements. Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis
were performed to investigate the effect of change management practices on organizational
development.
The findings revealed that communication, employee engagement, strategic change, operational
change, and people-centric change have a positive and significant effect on organizational development
at a 5% level of significance. Therefore, Dashen Bank should emphasize these areas to ensure better
organizational performance. Further research should be conducted to gain deeper insights, particularly
by using additional independent variables.
